Pumpkin Spice Protein Bites

Pumpkin spice season is in full swing! You can’t go to any establishment without having the option of a pumpkin spice remix. So, in the spirit of PSL season, we present to you…

Pumpkin Spice Protein Bites!! 🎃

While some pumpkin recipes can be considered indulgent, they are not all void of nutritional value. Pumpkins and other hard squashes contain carotenoids, which are phytonutrients, and powerful antioxidants.

Those nutrients support your immune system, eye health and skin health. Pumpkins specifically have beta-carotene, which our bodies convert into vitamin A, a key support for vision health. Plus, pumpkin is great for digestion!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup almond butter

  • 1/3 cup pumpkin purée

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 2 XS Protein Pods or 2 scoops Nutrilite Organics Plant Protein

  • 1 cup oatmeal

  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds

  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice

Instructions:

Mix together almond butter, pumpkin, honey and vanilla in a large bowl. Stir in contents of two XS Protein Pods (or the equivalent amount of other protein powder) followed by the remaining dry ingredients.

Roll the mixture into balls (about 1 inch or 2 ½ centimeters) and place on a baking sheet. Refrigerate for at least two hours. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

*pro tip

You can freeze then dip in chocolate for a little extra indulgence. 😉

Now you have an easy snack to grab when you’re getting low on energy and are looking for a quick boost of protein.
